Refurbishment and restoration
Netherby Hall, Cumbria
With the refurbishment of this Grade 2 Star listed heritage building at Netherby Hall, we redeveloped the former stables into truly bespoke holiday apartments. Further works included the Victorian cobbled courtyard and stables, Grooms’ accommodation, holiday accommodation, an education facility and the Orangery refurbishment. As a listed building, preserving the original structure and retaining the character of the heritage structure was of vital importance with this project, making it a favourite among the Prime Property Ventures team. We loved refurbishing this heritage building into a space that will be maintained, preserved and enjoyed by its owners and holidaymakers for years to come.
The Barne & The Byre, Reedsford
Bringing old walls back to life in a magical setting in The Cheviots, this restoration project saw our team of stone masons re-dress the existing stone work using natural local materials to create first-class accommodation.
Redevelopment
Thirlestane Castle
At the magnificent 16th century Thirlestane Castle in Lauder within the Scottish Borders, we redeveloped an existing derelict wing to form a new kitchen and living area in a spacious, luxurious family home. Further to this, Prime Property Ventures went on to refurbish additional space within the castle to create three further luxury holiday apartments.
Wester Coates
A major excavation was undertaken to pave the way for a two-storey extension, building a bespoke kitchen coupled with space for a gym beneath. The renovation saw Prime Property Ventures fit out the new custom-built kitchen, providing the family home with a modern living space – the central hub of any home.
New builds
East Lothian
The luxury state-of-the-art dwelling set on the spectacular East Lothian coastline has been our largest and most rewarding project completed to date. Completed in Winter 2020, this contemporary family home features a bespoke design including zinc cladding, flat roofs, landscaped gardens, larch cladding, natural paving.
Millfield
A grand, modern new-build overlooking the picturesque Firth of Forth in Edinburgh. Built from natural stone, this property features a bespoke kitchen design and paved driveway.
Extensions
Northumberland coastal extension
For this family home extension, we sourced natural sandstone and high performance timber windows to blend beautifully into the landscape while handling the tough coastal conditions of Northumberland.
Beachcomber, Goswick Sands
This project saw the Prime Property Ventures team complete an extension to a traditional cottage. We utilised modern aluminium windows and charred timber cladding to tie in with the property’s stunning coastal location. The contemporary extension was designed and completed to complement the traditional architecture of the existing dwelling.
